eZ DMS Folder

The eZ DMS Folder are used to organise the structure and the permissions for the eZ DMS Files.

eZ DMS Folders will be created by group leaders that will decide who can edit and view files within the eZ DMS Folder.

When you create an eZ DMS Folder, you have to fill 3 selections fields.

Read permissions will display all the user groups that have the permission to read the parent content.

• If you create an eZ DMS Folder right below the homepage, you will be able to select any user groups.
• If you create an eZ DMS Folder below another eZ DMS Folder, you will only be able to select user groups that have the permission to read the parent eZ DMS Folder.

The system allows you to gradually restrict the permissions as you go down the hierarchy of content. The limitation force the given permission to be coherent.

Edit permissions will display all user groups that have the permission to read the parent content

Users belonging to the selected user groups will be able to create and edit eZ DMS File within the eZ DMS Folder. They will be able to lock any files and unlock the file the locked.

Admin permissions will display all user groups that have the permission to read the parent content

Users belonging to the selected user groups will be able to create and edit eZ DMS File within the eZ DMS Folder. They will be able to lock and unlock any files.
